Happy New Year!

Jan.pngThe new year offers a fresh start for everyone. We make resolutions with a renewed sense of hope. But so often we find New Year’s resolutions coming from a negative perspective—lose weight, break bad habits, stop doing this or that. It's really no surprise that 92% of resolutions fail. Many people use the new year as an opportunity to make large bucket lists or attempt extreme makeovers. That’s a nice aspiration but for most people this type of approach is doomed to fail.

We think there's a better way.  Instead of making negative resolutions that probably won’t stick, commit to making positive and uplifting changes that will improve your life immediately—changes that are simple and realistic.

To get you started, we came up with some positive resolutions that any one can set for 2016 and they're guaranteed to help you to be your best self!

This year choose to be:

  • Curious
  • Yourself
  • Inspiring
  • Creative
  • Unique
  • Happy
  • Brave
  • Bright
  • Awesome
  • Uplifting
  • Grateful
  • Kind

The key to accomplishing any goal or keeping any resolution is starting and then continuing until it becomes a habit. To help you remember throughout the year, we created a 2016 monthly desk calendar for a little inspiration. You can download virtual versions of the artwork to use as the background on your computer or print and post at your desk—find all 12 months here

The best is yet to come. Have an awesome year!
