New Screening Methods Offer Flexibility for Wellness Programs [Infographic]

Posted by Lisa Stovall on Thu, Sep, 12, 2013

More and more employers are offering biometric screenings because it's an effective way of collecting valuable information about employees' current health status and risk areas. In 2011, 62% of large employers offered biometric screenings to employees.

However, lack of access to screenings can be a major roadblock for small or remote employee populations. TotalWellness offers convenient ways to capture biometric values for your total population. Our options include at-home fingerstick kits, retail locations (like Target and Walgreens), physician screening forms, or lab visits, which can be implemented as a standalone solution or added to any on-site screening event. In fact, we have several clients that choose to only offer physician lab uploads as part of their wellness program. We process all of the data from physician visits - giving them aggregate reports that can help them create health improvement offerings tailored to employees' specific needs.

Take a look at the infographic to see some of the benefits of each option.
