June 2015 is the seventh annual Employee Wellbeing Month. As you can probably guess, we’re pumped! TotalWellness is a proud supporter of the month.
Unfortunately, not everyone is bought into the importance of focusing on wellness at work. Employee Wellbeing Month is designed to help educate, spread awareness and gain support for employee wellness. In honor of Employee Wellbeing Month, we’d like to inform all of you about an excellent opportunity for you to be intentional about your healthy choices and to share those choices with the world.
I Am Healthy 30-Day Challenge
Here at TotalWellness, we believe that everyone is healthy. Yes, everyone! While we could all use some improvements, it’s important to recognize that every single person has some healthy habits in his or her life.
The challenge is a great way for you to pick out the healthy habits in your life. By identifying them, you can start to make more. We’re encouraging 30 days of healthy choices because studies show it takes 21 to 30 days to break a habit. We want to help you make lasting healthy changes in your life. So, we’re in it for the long haul right along with you.
The whole concept is really very simple. We want to know what healthy habits you have. We also want you to know what healthy habits TotalWellness employees have. You can use our ideas, we’ll use your's and you all better use each other’s, too!
So what do you do?
It’s simple. Take the #iamhealthy pledge by signing up here. Every day (for 30 days) share a picture or post how you are healthy that day on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. It can be anything from relaxing with some yoga, to playing with your kids, to cooking a healthy meal, or laughing with friends. Share your healthy habits via Facebook, Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #IAmHealthy so we can all share in your journey.
Here’s an example so you can see a challenge post in action! Be sure to use the hashtag. You can also tag us if you remember. Again, pictures are optional! Feel free to post images or even just text!

If you get off track, or you start mid-month, or whatever the case may be, don’t worry! You can always hop right back on the wagon. Set your goal as 30 total days of #IAmHealthy posts. Share it with your friends as you go for extra support and new ideas.
