parcel-boxes-vector_GJc8CkPu_Converted.jpgIf you’re the primary contractor on any event, you’ll be the one receiving shipments from TotalWellness. If you’re the only one working an event, that automatically makes you the primary, so keep that in mind!

TotalWellness will ship you all of the supplies you need for the event. Those supplies are your responsibility while they’re in your possession.

We ship everything through FedEx, and we’ll let you know as soon as we generate a shipment that’s headed your way. We try to utilize the following schedule for our shipments, but if you haven’t received a shipment or email from us within three business days of your event, you need to contact our shipping team.

When you get a shipment from TotalWellness, there are a few initial steps you need to take.

Step 1: Open the box(es).

Don’t wait until the day of your event to open your shipments. It’s important you take a look at what you’ve received right away so you can be sure it’s correct and is stored properly until the event.

Step 2: Verify the contents.

Use the enclosed packing list to verify you’ve received everything you were supposed to. You can also double check that your supplies match what the Event Worksheet says you’ll need.

Step 3: Properly store the supplies.

This is especially important for flu vaccine. There are a lot of rules and guidelines when it comes to storing flu vaccine while it’s in your possession. Please read the manual for the specifics, and follow those rules and guidelines closely. All other supplies can be stored in the box in which they were delivered, but make sure they’re in a safe place.

Step 4: Keep track of the supplies

You might have supplies for multiple events in your possession at any given time. Some events might even require a couple of different boxes. Be sure you keep track of the shipments and supplies you’ve received, and keep the supplies for different events separate from one another. That will help ensure you bring the correct supplies to the correct event.

Like we said before, when our supplies are in your possession, they’re your responsibility. You’re in charge of properly storing and transporting them to and from the event, as well as properly sending them back to us. Be sure you’ve read the manual for all of the details about your role as the primary contractor.

If you have any questions or concerns about a shipment you’ve received, it’s better to be safe than sorry. Always accept shipments from TotalWellness (even if maybe you weren’t expecting one), and contact our shipping team with your concerns. You can get ahold of them at 888-434-4358 ext. 103.
